Qiang Wei is a Chinese politician and senior regional official. He is serving as Vice-Chairperson of National People's Congress Internal and Judicial Affairs Committee. Previously, he served as the Communist Party Secretary of Jiangxi province between 2013 and 2016. He spent much of his earlier political career in Beijing as a key leader of its law-enforcement institutions, including the Beijing Political and Legislative Affairs Commission (Zhengfawei) and the Beijing Public Security Bureau. He also served as the party chief of Qinghai province.

Guo Jinlong is a Chinese politician, currently serving as the Vice Chairman of the Central Guidance Commission on Building Spiritual Civilization, and a member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China. Between 2008 and 2012 Guo served as the Mayor of Beijing, and Communist Party Secretary of Beijing between 2012 and 2017. As the Mayor of Beijing during the 2008 Olympics, Guo served as the executive chairman of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games (BOCOG).

Simon Min Sze, or Shi Min, is a Chinese-American electrical engineer. He is best known for inventing the floating-gate MOSFET with Korean electrical engineer Dawon Kahng in 1967.

Wang Wentao is a Chinese politician who has been Governor of Heilongjiang province since March 2018. He formerly served as Communist Party Secretary of Jinan and Deputy Party Secretary of Shandong province.

Qian Weiping is a Chinese military scientist and a former major general in the People's Liberation Army (PLA). An expert in space tracking, telemetry and command, he served as President of Beijing Institute of Tracking and Telecommunications Technology and Deputy Director of the Equipment Development Department of the Central Military Commission. In July 2019, he was placed under investigation by the PLA's anti-corruption agency.

Xiaowei Zhuang is a Chinese-American biophysicist who is the David B. Arnold Jr. Professor of Science, Professor of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, and Professor of Physics at Harvard University, and an Investigator at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. She is best known for her work in the development of Stochastic Optical Reconstruction Microscopy (STORM), a super-resolution fluorescence microscopy method, and the discoveries of novel cellular structures using STORM. She received a 2019 Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences for developing super-resolution imaging techniques that get past the diffraction limits of traditional light microscopes, allowing scientists to visualize small structures within living cells. She was elected a Member of the American Philosophical Society in 2019 and was awarded a Vilcek Foundation Prize in Biomedical Science in 2020.

Ge Jun, is the associate professor and master instructor of College of Mathematics and Computer Science of Nanjing Normal University. Ge took part in the composing and designing process of the mathematics paper of the National College Entrance Examination for several times. The papers of the year 2003, 2010 and 2012 were regarded as “extremely difficult” by examinees. As a result, he is called "the Emperor of Mathematics" by netizens in China. Some media also use this nickname.

Zhiwei Yun is a Professor of Mathematics at MIT specializing in number theory, algebraic geometry and representation theory, with a particular focus on the Langlands program. Before moving to Yale University in 2016, he held assistant and associate professorships at Stanford University from 2012 to 2016 and was a C. L. E. Moore instructor at Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2012.
