Katalin Karikó
Katalin Karikó is a Hungarian biochemist who specializes in RNA-mediated mechanisms. Her research has been the development of in vitro-transcribed mRNA for protein therapies. She co-founded and was CEO of RNARx from 2006–2013. Since 2013 she has been a senior vice president at BioNTech RNA Pharmaceuticals. She is also an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania.
Sándor Szűcs
Sándor Szűcs was a Hungarian football player. He was a defender for Szolnoki MÁV and Újpest FC. With Újpest, he was a three-time league champion in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I. He had 19 appearances as an international for Hungary from 1941 to 1948. In 1951, he was executed by the Hungarian regime for an attempted defection to Austria.

Vincent Korda was a Hungarian-born art director, later settling in Britain. Born in Túrkeve in what was then the Austro-Hungarian Empire, he was the younger brother of Alexander and Zoltan Korda. He was nominated for four Academy Awards, winning once. He died in London, England. He is the father of writer and editor Michael Korda, and the grandfather of Chris Korda.
András Jeles
András Jeles is a Hungarian film director and actor. He is best known for directing the 1984 film The Annunciation. His son László Nemes is also a film director.
Zoltan Korda
Zoltan Korda was a Hungarian-born motion picture screenwriter, director and producer. He made his first film in Hungary in 1918, and worked with his brother Alexander Korda on film-making there and in London. They both moved to the United States in 1940 to Hollywood and the American film industry.
