Piko is a male Japanese pop singer signed to the Sony Music Entertainment sub-label Ki/oon Music. He became popular on the Internet through the video sharing network Nico Nico Douga. His fans call him "Ryouseirui" , a fan-made word to describe his wide vocal range that includes notes typical of both male and female voice types.

Keisuke Kanoh is a Japanese professional baseball outfielder for the Hanshin Tigers in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball.

Miyuri Shimabukuro is a Japanese voice actress from Okinawa Prefecture who is affiliated with Office Osawa. After debuting as a voice actress in 2017, she played her first main roles in 2018 as Yuuna Yunohana in the anime series Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs, Nagisa Araki in the anime series Hanebado! and Inca Kasugatani in Fire Force.

Hisako Kyōda is a Japanese actress and voice actress from Tokyo Prefecture. Some of her major voice roles include Genkai in Yu Yu Hakusho, Omusubiman in Soreike! Anpanman and Yukari Godai in Maison Ikkoku. Kyōda is affiliated with the talent agency Haikyō.

Tomoko Yoshihara is a former volleyball player from Japan, who competed in the 1992, 1996, and 2004 Summer Olympics. She captained the 2004 Olympic squad. Yoshihara played as a middle-blocker. She was named Best Server at the 1994 FIVB Women's World Championship.

Toyohibiki Ryūta is a former Japanese professional sumo wrestler from Toyoura, Yamaguchi. He turned professional in 2005, reaching the top makuuchi division in July 2007. He has earned two special prizes for Fighting Spirit, and one gold star for a yokozuna upset. His highest rank has been maegashira 2. He is from Sakaigawa stable, which had four other wrestlers with top division experience for much of the time he was in makuuchi: Myōgiryū, Sadanofuji, Sadanoumi and Gōeidō, the last of whom joined at the same time as him. With the May 2014 promotion of Yoshikaze to komusubi he is now has the most tournaments ranked in makuuchi among active wrestlers without reaching san'yaku. His ring name roughly translates as "abundant echo".

Emiko Uematsu is a Japanese politician in the Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ), a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet. A native of Takamatsu, Kagawa and graduate of Kobe University, she ran unsuccessfully for the House of Councillors in 2004. She ran again in 2007 and was elected for the first time. She left the DPJ in 2013 because of a difference of political policy.

Miho Shinoda , is a former elite-level gymnast from Japan, and a former J-pop singer in 1999 and 2000 with the group Taiyo to Ciscomoon, for which she was the lead singer. The group was part of Hello! Project.
