Emi Kathleen Watanabe is a Japanese former competitive figure skater who is the 1979 World bronze medalist and an eight-time Japanese national champion. She was the first skater to medal for Japan in ladies' singles at the World Championships.

Akio Mori , better known by the name Musashi (武蔵), is a Japanese former professional karateka and kickboxer. He is a four-time K-1 Japan tournament champion, a former WAKO Heavyweight Muay Thai champion and two-time K-1 World Grand Prix finalist. Following a 14-year career, he announced his retirement at a press conference in Tokyo on August 26, 2009.

Jun Miyake is a Japanese composer. His music was used in the film Pina, nominated for the Academy Awards for Best Documentary Feature in January 2012. He has also been awarded by the German critic’s award - Der Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik - as Best Album of the Year for his last 3 albums “Stolen from Strangers”, “Lost Memory Theatre act-1”, and “Lost Memory Theatre act-2”. He is not to be confused by the Jazz saxophone player of the same name active in New York.
