Shinobu Kitayama is a Japanese social psychologist and the Robert B. Zajonc Collegiate Professor of Psychology at the University of Michigan. He is also the Social Psychology Area Chair and Director of the Culture & Cognition Program at the University of Michigan. He is the editor-in-chief of the Attitudes and Social Cognition section of the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology. He received his bachelor's degree and master's degree from Kyoto University and his doctorate from the University of Michigan. Together with Mayumi Karasawa, he discovered the birthday-number effect, the subconscious tendency of people to prefer the numbers in the date of their birthday over other numbers. Prof. Kitayama is best known for his work on the social psychology of culture as it relates to the self. He and Hazel Rose Markus have argued that Western selves are constructed as independent from others, and people from many East Asian cultures construct interdependent selves, based on the fundamental relatedness of individuals to each other. These differently constructed selves deeply affect how people see the world, how they experience emotions, how they organize their experience, and what they value.

Rei Sato is a Japanese badminton player from the NTT East team. Born in Miyagi, he graduated from the Saitama Sakae high school, and later educated at the Nippon Sport Science University. He was part of the national junior team that won the bronze medal at the 2007 Asian Junior Championships. Teamed-up with Naomasa Senkyo, they won the men's doubles title at the North Shore City and Waikato International tournaments. Sato also clinched the men's singles title at the 2014 Portugal International tournament.

Koki Watanabe is a Japanese badminton player. He graduated from the Saitama Sakae high school, and was part of the Unysis team since 2017. He won his first international title at the 2018 Yonex / K&D Graphics International tournament.

Jun Senoue is a Japanese video game composer and musician who works for Sega, known for his various contributions in the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series. He is also the songwriter and lead guitarist for the band Crush 40, which has also contributed to many Sonic games.

Minori Matsushima is a Japanese actress, voice actress and narrator currently working for Aoni Production. She is most known for the roles of Candice White Adley, Hiyoko Isu, Alexandria Meat (Kinnikuman), Sayaka Yumi, Hiroshi Ichikawa (Kaibutsu-kun), Dororo (Dororo), and Gyopi.

Chiyoko Kawashima is a former Japanese voice actress. She was born in Tokyo, and retired from voice acting in 2001; her final role was that of Kusakabe Maron's mother in Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne.
