Girolamo da Ponte also known as Gerolamo Bassano was an Italian painter of the Renaissance period.

Mario Berlinguer was an Italian lawyer and politician. He descended from a noble Sardinian family of Catalan origins. As many of his ancestors, he belonged to the Italian Freemasonry and was Great Master of the regular lodge of Sassari, affiliated to the Grand Orient of Italy.

Riziero "Riz" Ortolani was an Italian film composer. Ortolani scored over two-hundred films working mostly within the Italian genres of Mondo, Giallo, and the Spaghetti Western. Ortolani also scored many Hollywood films and has had some of his compositions reused in films like Drive and Django Unchained. Ortolani's most famous composition is More, which he wrote for the infamous film Mondo Cane. It won the 1964 Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Theme and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song at the 36th Academy Awards. The song was later covered by Frank Sinatra, Kai Winding, Andy Williams, Roy Orbison, and others.

Bernardo Rucellai, also known as Bernardo di Giovanni Rucellai or as Latin: 'Bernardus Oricellarius', was a member of the Florentine political and social elite. He was the son of Giovanni di Paolo Rucellai (1403–1481) and father of Giovanni di Bernardo Rucellai (1475–1525). He was married to Nannina de' Medici, the elder sister of Lorenzo de' Medici, and was thus uncle to Popes Leo X and Clement VII, who were cousins. Oligarch, banker, ambassador and man of letters, he is today remembered principally for the meetings of the members of the Accademia platonica in the Orti Oricellari, the gardens of his house in Florence, the Palazzo Rucellai, where Niccolò Machiavelli gave readings of his Discorsi.

Antonio Segni was an Italian politician and statesman who served as 4th President of Italy from May 1962 to December 1964 and 34th Prime Minister in two distinct terms between 1955 and 1960.

Claudio Argento is an Italian film producer and screenwriter. Most of the titles he has produced have been the horror films directed by his older brother, Dario Argento. One major exception was Alejandro Jodorowsky's cult film Santa Sangre (1989); in addition to producing, Claudio Argento co-wrote the screenplay for the film. Argento was an associate producer for George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead (1978).

Anna Capodaglio was an Italian actress. She appeared in more than twenty films from 1936 to 1945. Her sisters Emma Gramatica and Irma Gramatica were both actresses. The actress Wanda Capodaglio was her sister-in-law.

Lucius Cornelius Scipio Barbatus was one of the two elected Roman consuls in 298 BC. He led the Roman army to victory against the Etruscans near Volterra. A member of the noble Roman family of Scipiones, he was the father of Lucius Cornelius Scipio and Gnaeus Cornelius Scipio Asina and great-grandfather of Scipio Africanus.
