Arie Frederik Lasut is regarded as a national hero in Indonesia, because of his involvement in the struggle for independence and his efforts to advance Indonesia’s mining and geological infrastructure during the nation’s beginnings. Arie Lasut was born in Kapataran, a village in the regency of Minahasa in the province of North Sulawesi. He was the eldest son of eight children born to Darius Lasut and Ingkan Supit. His brother, Willy Lasut, went on to become governor of North Sulawesi.

Supardi Nasir Bujang is an Indonesian professional footballer who plays as a full-back for Liga 1 club Persib Bandung and is the captain of the club. He debuted on the Indonesia national team as a substitute at the 2007 AFF Championship.

Christopher Benjamin Rungkat is an Indonesian tennis player. He is the grandson of Benny Rungkat, former chairman of the Indonesian Air Carriers Association. Christopher's father, Michael Alexander Fritz Rungkat, is of Dutch and Indonesian descent and his mother, Elfia Mirlianti, is full Indonesian descent. In 2008, he won the final stage of French Open 2008 Boys' Doubles Juniors category with Finnish tennis player Henri Kontinen. He is the youngest ever Indonesian to be the All Indonesian Champion, and by the end of his junior career, he was awarded for Indonesian best promising athlete 2008.

Sigi Wimala Somya Dewi, more popularly known as Sigi Wimala, is an Indonesian model and actress.

Azwar Anas is a former Indonesian politician. He was a minister in Suharto's New Order administration for two terms. Before he sat as a minister, Anas was selected as the governor of West Sumatra. He completed his education at the Bandung Institute of Technology, majoring in Chemical Engineering.

Marzuki Darusman is an Indonesian lawyer and human rights campaigner. After fifteen years as a member of the People's Representative Council with President Suharto's Golkar party, he served the country's prosecutor general from 1999 to 2001. Darusman has served on several national and international human rights commissions, and in August 2010, he became founding director of the Human Rights Resource Centre for ASEAN.

Abdul Ghani Kasuba is an Indonesian politician and the current governor and former lieutenant governor of North Maluku.
