Jean-Pierre Granger was a French painter who worked in the Neo-Classical style. He is primarily known for portraits, history paintings and mythological scenes, but also created numerous religious works. Some sources incorrectly call him Jean-Perrin.

Antoine François Passy was a French politician, geologist, and botanist. He was sub-secretary of state for the Interior in the Cabinet of François-Pierre Guizot.

Yto Barrada is a Franco-Moroccan multimedia visual artist living and working in Tangier, Morocco and New York City. Alongside producer Cyriac Auriol, Barrada cofounded the Cinémathèque de Tanger in 2006. Barrada also works an artistic director for the Tangier art house movie theatre. She was previously a member of the Beirut-based Arab Image Foundation.
