Stéphane Grappelli
Stéphane Grappelli, born Stefano Grappelli, was a French-Italian jazz violinist who founded the Quintette du Hot Club de France with guitarist Django Reinhardt in 1934. It was one of the first all-string jazz bands. He has been called "the grandfather of jazz violinists" and continued playing concerts around the world well into his eighties.

He started his career as an advisor to Charles Pasqua. He served as a member of the European Parliament from 1999 to 2004. He was a member of the Rally for France. As of 2009, he was the owner of Chez Alfred, a French restaurant in Paris. He died of cancer on 22 December 2016 and he was buried at the Montparnasse Cemetery.

She remained beside the king and his family during the French Revolution and was executed at Place de la Révolution in Paris during the Terror.
