Émile Adélard Breton was a French painter and engraver; best known for his moody nocturnal landscapes with figures.

Bertrand Gallet is a former French badminton player. Born in Lille, Gallet started the sport from an early age. He practiced football at the age of six, then began playing tennis and handball in Béthune. He chose to play badminton when he was 14. He went to INSEP in 17 and graduated in 2000.

Émile Genevois was a French film actor. Genevois appeared in over ninety films and television programmes, generally in character roles.

Étienne Éloi Labarre (1764–1833) was a French architect.

André Marie Constant Duméril was a French zoologist. He was professor of anatomy at the Muséum national d'histoire naturelle from 1801 to 1812, when he became professor of herpetology and ichthyology. His son Auguste Duméril was also a zoologist, and the author citation Duméril is used for both André and his son.

Jean-Daniel Pollet was a French film director and screenwriter who was most active in the 1960s and 1970s. He was associated with two approaches to filmmaking: comedies which blended burlesque and melancholic elements, and poetic films based on texts by writers such as the French poet Francis Ponge.
