Quentin Jaurégui is a French cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam B&B Hotels p/b KTM. On 3 May 2015, he won the one-day race Tour de la Somme by beating Anthony Delaplace and Alo Jakin in a contest of three. He was named in the startlist for the 2016 Vuelta a España and the startlist for the 2017 Giro d'Italia.

Jean François Fernel was a French physician who introduced the term "physiology" to describe the study of the body's function. He was the first person to describe the spinal canal. The lunar crater Fernelius is named after him.

Félix Goethals was a French professional road bicycle racer, who won seven stages in total in the Tour de France. His best final classification was a ninth place in 1920.

Jean Bullant was a French architect and sculptor who built the tombs of Anne de Montmorency, Grand Connétable of France, Henri II, and Catherine de' Medici. He also worked on the Tuileries, the Louvre, and the Château d'Écouen. Bullant was a Huguenot.

Simon Marmion was a French and Burgundian Early Netherlandish painter of panels and illuminated manuscripts. Marmion lived and worked in what is now France but for most of his lifetime was part of the Duchy of Burgundy in the Southern Netherlands.

Salomon de Brosse was an influential early 17th-century French architect, a major influence on François Mansart. Salomon was born in Verneuil-en-Halatte, Oise, into a prominent Huguenot family, the grandson through his mother of the designer Jacques I Androuet du Cerceau and the son of the architect Jean de Brosse. He was established in practice in Paris in 1598 and was promoted to court architect in 1608.
