David Siegel is a German ski jumper and representative of the club SV Baiersbronn. Three-time medalist at the 2016 Nordic Junior World Ski Championships - gold individually and as a team, and bronze in the mixed team competition.

Dietrich Möller is a German politician, member of the Landtag of Hesse (CDU) and former mayor of Marburg.

Maylin Wende is a German pair skater. With husband and partner Daniel Wende, she is the 2010 Trophée Eric Bompard bronze medalist, the 2013 Nebelhorn Trophy silver medalist, and a two-time German national champion. They have competed twice at the Winter Olympics and have placed as high as sixth at the European Championships.

Franz Theodor Reizenstein was a German-born British composer and concert pianist. He left Germany for sanctuary in Britain in 1934 and went on to have his teaching and performing career there. As a composer, he successfully blended the equally strong but very different influences of his primary teachers, Hindemith and Vaughan Williams.

Volker Engel is a German special effects artist who is best known as one of the people who won at the 69th Academy Awards for Best Visual Effects on the film Independence Day. He won with Douglas Smith, Clay Pinney and Joe Viskocil.
