Joseph Bédier was a French writer and scholar and historian of medieval France.

Jean-Michel Savéant was a French chemist who specialized in electrochemistry. He was elected member of the French Academy of Sciences in 2000 and foreign associate of the National Academy of Sciences in 2001. He published in excess of 400 peer-reviewed articles in chemistry literature.

Louis Venant Gabriel Levieux Bailly de La Falaise was a French fencer. He participated in Fencing at the 1900 Summer Olympics in Paris and won the gold medal in the sabre, defeating fellow French fencer Henri Masson in the final. He also participated in Fencing at the 1908 Summer Olympics but was beaten in the final round, finishing in last place.

Sylvie Le Bon-de Beauvoir is the adopted daughter of Simone de Beauvoir. She is a philosophy professor. The meeting between the two women was recounted in the book Tout compte fait, which Simone de Beauvoir dedicated to Le Bon.
