Martina Repiská is a Slovak badminton player. She started playing badminton at the age of nine in her hometown, then playing competitively in the junior international tournament when she was twelve. She became the member of the national team in 2009, and won her first international title at the 2017 Morocco International tournament. Repiská competed at the 2019 European Games.

Ján Sokol is a Slovak archbishop and former Archbishop of Trnava.

Peter Dubovský, SJ, was a Slovak Auxiliary Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Banská Bystrica from 1991 until his retirement in 1997. Dubovský was ordained as a Catholic priest on December 24, 1950 and clandestinely as bishop on May 18, 1961 by Dominik Kalata, because of the Communist Government of Czechoslovakia and the persecution of the Roman Catholic Church by the government. He died on April 10, 2008, at the age of 86.

Erik Jendrišek is a Slovak professional footballer who plays as a forward for Slovak club AS Trenčín.
