Arto Bryggare
Arto Kalervo Bryggare is a Finnish former hurdling athlete. He was a member of the Parliament of Finland, representing the Social Democratic Party of Finland from 1995 to 1999 and 2003 to 2007. His personal best time 13.35, made during trials in 1984 Los Angeles Games, is still the record time in Finland and in Nordic countries. Bryggare made Finnish history by becoming the first Finn to medal in a sprint event shorter than 400 metres.

Alma-Sofia Miettinen, known professionally as Alma, is a Finnish singer and songwriter. Beginning her career in 2013, she placed fifth in the seventh season of the Finnish version of Idol. Her breakthrough came in 2015 when she was featured on the single "Muuta ku mä" by Sini Sabotage, and was subsequently signed to Universal Music Group.
Jukka Jalonen
Jukka Jalonen is a Finnish professional ice hockey coach and former player. In 2011 and 2019, he coached the Finnish national team to win the gold medal in the IIHF World Championship. He was the head coach of Jokerit in the Kontinental Hockey League during seasons 2016-2018 before returning to coach the Finnish national team.

Hannes Kolehmainen
Juho Pietari "Hannes" Kolehmainen was a Finnish four-time Olympic Gold medalist and a world record holder in middle- and long-distance running. He was the first in a generation of great Finnish long-distance runners, often named the "Flying Finns". Kolehmainen competed for a number of years in the United States, wearing the Winged Fist of the Irish American Athletic Club. He also enlisted in the 14th Regiment of the National Guard of New York, and became a U.S. citizen in 1921.

Anneli Sauli is a Finnish film actress. She has appeared in 42 films since 1953. She starred in the film Miriam, which was entered into the 8th Berlin International Film Festival. She was born in Pyhäjoki, Finland to a Finnish Romani father, Valdemar Schwartz, and a Finnish mother, Salli Maria Heikkilä. From the late 1950s to the early 1960s she lived and worked in West Germany using the name Ann Savo.
