Born in the Netherlands to parents from Morocco, he has represented the Netherlands at various youth levels, before declaring his allegiance to Morocco.

She has also appeared in several compilation albums, notably for the Tiga Dara remake soundtrack where she sung "Bimbang Tanpa Pegangan" and "Pilih Menantu", the latter with vocal coach Indra Aziz.
