Petro Petrovych Tolochko is a Soviet and Ukrainian historian, archaeologist, and political activist. He is one of the leading specialists in history of the Kievan Rus and one of leading researchers of the NASU Institute of Archaeology of Ukraine.

Carle or Charles-André van Loo was a French subject painter, son of the painter Louis-Abraham van Loo, a younger brother of Jean-Baptiste van Loo and grandson of Jacob van Loo. He was the most famous member of a successful dynasty of painters of Dutch origin. His oeuvre includes every category: religion, history painting, mythology, portraiture, allegory, and genre scenes.

Boris (Boaz) Avraamovich Trakhtenbrot, or Boaz (Boris) Trakhtenbrot was an Israeli and Russian mathematician in mathematical logic, algorithms, theory of computation, and cybernetics. Trakhtenbrot was born in Brichevo, northern Bessarabia. He worked at Akademgorodok, Novosibirsk during the 1960s and 1970s. After immigrating to Israel in 1981, he became a professor in the faculty of Exact sciences of Tel Aviv University, where he was professor emeritus until his death.

Francis Daniel Crean was an Australian politician who served as a member of the House of Representatives from 1951 to 1977, representing the Labor Party. He was a minister in the Whitlam Government, including as Treasurer from 1972 to 1974 and Deputy Prime Minister for a few months in 1975.
