James Hanratty, also known as the A6 Murderer, was a British criminal who was one of the final eight people in the UK to be executed before capital punishment was effectively abolished. He was hanged at Bedford Gaol on 4 April 1962, after being convicted of the murder of scientist Michael Gregsten, aged 36, who was shot dead in a car on the A6 at Deadman's Hill, near Clophill, Bedfordshire in August 1961. Gregsten's mistress, Valerie Storie, was raped, shot five times, and left paralysed.

In addition to two separate spells as a player at Luton, including as part of the team that won the League Cup in 1988, Harford has been the club's director of football, first-team coach and manager; the latter role saw him lead Luton to victory in the Football League Trophy in 2009 & gloriously return in the 2018-19 season to guide The Hatters to champions of League One.

Jessica Pugh is a badminton player from England. She joined the national junior team in 2008, and selected to the senior team in 2015. She had won the mixed doubles bronze medal at the 2015 European Junior Championships in Poland, also helped the team winning the silver medal. She won her first senior international tournament when she was 16 years old in Hungarian International. Pugh was part of the English team that won the mixed team bronze at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast.
