She was previously a junior minister at the Department for Work and Pensions, Department for Education and Skills and Northern Ireland Office.

Sharron Elizabeth Davies, is an English former competitive swimmer who represented Great Britain in the Olympics and European championships, and competed for England in the Commonwealth Games.
