Ervin Santana
Ervin Ramon Santana is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Kansas City Royals organization. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Royals, Atlanta Braves, Minnesota Twins, and Chicago White Sox. Santana is a two-time All-Star, and he threw a no-hitter with the Angels in 2011.
Felipe Alou
Felipe Rojas Alou is a former Major League Baseball outfielder, first baseman, and manager. He managed the Montreal Expos (1992–2001) and the San Francisco Giants (2003–06). The first Dominican to play regularly in the major leagues, he is the most prominent member of one of the sport's most notable families of the late 20th century: he was the oldest of the trio of baseball-playing brothers that included Matty and Jesús, who were both primarily outfielders, and his son Moisés was also primarily an outfielder; all but Jesús have been named All-Stars at least twice. His son Luis, in turn, manages the New York Mets. The family name in the Dominican Republic is Rojas, but Felipe Alou and his brothers became known by the name Alou when the Giants' scout who signed Felipe mistakenly thought his matronymic was his father's name.
Tito Horford
Alfredo William "Tito" Horford is a Dominican retired professional basketball player who was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round of the 1988 NBA draft. Horford played three years in the National Basketball Association (NBA), two with the Bucks from 1988–1990, and a short stint with the Washington Bullets during the 1993–94 season. He played in Spain in 1992. He was listed on the Bucks' summer 1992 roster.

Juan De Dios Encarnación is a Dominican former professional baseball outfielder. He played eleven seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1997 to 2007 for the Detroit Tigers, Cincinnati Reds, Florida Marlins, Los Angeles Dodgers, and St. Louis Cardinals. Encarnación suffered a career-ending injury after getting hit in the eye by a foul ball on August 31, 2007.

Julio César Franco Robles is a Dominican former professional baseball player and coach, who is a hitting coach for the farm team of the Lotte Giants of the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO). He spent most of his playing career in Major League Baseball (MLB), entering the major leagues in 1982 and last appearing in 2007, at which time he was the oldest active big league player. During that stretch, Franco also spent two seasons playing in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) and one season playing in the KBO.
