Michael Mørkøv Christensen is a Danish professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Deceuninck–Quick-Step. He is the brother of racing cyclists Jacob and Jesper Mørkøv.

Astrid Henning-Jensen was a Danish film director, actress, editor and screenwriter.

Mikkel Bjerg is a Danish cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam UAE Team Emirates. Bjerg won the under-23 individual time trial at the UCI Road World Championships in 2017, 2018 and 2019 – becoming the first rider to win multiple under-23 time trial world titles. He is the current holder of the Danish hour record. In October 2020, he was named in the startlist for the 2020 Giro d'Italia.

Mary Bess Westenholz, pen name Bertel Wrads, (1857–1947) was an influential Danish Unitarian, women's rights activist, writer and editor. She was the aunt of the author Karen Blixen, and is remembered for encouraging her niece to publish her first short stories.

Emil Jens Baumann Adolf Jerichau was a Danish sculptor. He belonged to the generation immediately after Bertel Thorvaldsen, for whom he worked briefly in Rome, but gradually moved away from the static Neoclassicism he inherited from him and towards a more dynamic and realistic style. He was a professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and its director from 1857 to 1863.
