Cho Po-yuan is a Taiwanese politician. He was the Magistrate of Changhua County from 20 December 2005 until 25 December 2014.

Koo Kwang-ming is a Taiwanese statesman, businessman and independence activist.

Wang Huei-mei is a Taiwanese politician. She is the incumbent Magistrate of Changhua County since 25 December 2018.

Weng Li-you, known as Only You, is a Taiwanese Hokkien pop singer.

Chan Ya-wen is a Taiwanese Hokkien pop singer, lyricist, and composer. She won the 2008 Golden Melody Award for Best Dialect Female Artist.

Ding Ning is a Taiwanese actress. She won critical acclaim and a Golden Horse Award for her supporting role in the film Cities of Last Things (2018). She was also nominated for a Taipei Film Award and an Asian Film Award for the role.

Steve Chan is a Taiwanese physician and politician. He served as health minister from 1997 to 2000, and as vice chairman of the Kuomintang from 2016 to 2017.

Shih Shu-tuan, pen name Li Ang, is a Taiwanese feminist writer. After graduating from Chinese Culture University with a degree in philosophy, she studied drama at the University of Oregon, after which she returned to teach at her alma mater. Her major work is The Butcher's Wife, though she has written many other novels. Feminist themes and sexuality are present in much of her work. Many of her stories are set in Lukang.

Koh Se-kai is a Taiwanese historian, politician, and diplomat. He is an important leader of the Taiwan independence movement. In 2004, Koh was appointed to be the Republic of China’s top representative to Japan. By June 2008, Koh had retired.

Huang Jong-tsun is a Taiwanese politician and psychologist who serves as the current President of the Examination Yuan. Prior to assuming his current role, Huang had served as President of China Medical University from 2005 to 2014 and Minister of Education from 2002 and 2004. He is the first President of the Examination Yuan not affiliated with any political party.
