Raymond Laflamme, OC, FRSC is a Canadian physicist and founder and until mid 2017, was the director of the Institute for Quantum Computing at the University of Waterloo. He is also a professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Waterloo and an associate faculty member at Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics. Laflamme is currently a Canada Research Chair in Quantum Information. In December 2017, he was named as one of the appointees to the Order of Canada.

Fernand Girard was an Independent member of the House of Commons of Canada. He was born in Saint-Cyriac, Quebec and became a journalist, including editor of Le Réveil de Jonquière.

Daniel Jeannotte is a Canadian actor. He gained recognition for his roles as Brandon Russell in the American-Canadian fantasy television series Good Witch, and as James Stuart in the CW period drama series Reign. He also portrayed Arno Dorian through performance capture in Assassin's Creed Unity, an action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. In April 2017, Jeannotte joined the Freeform drama series The Bold Type as Ryan Decker, a writer at Pinstripe magazine, who is Jane Sloan's romantic interest.

The Rt Revd Michel Hrynchyshyn C.Ss.R. was the apostolic exarch of the Apostolic Exarchate in France, Benelux and Switzerland for the Ukrainians from when he was consecrated bishop on 30 January 1983 until his resignation in 2012. He was appointed by Pope John Paul II on 21 October 1982. He also was an advisor to the Congregation for the Oriental Churches and a member of Le conseil d'Eglises chrétiennes en France (CECEF). Hrynchyshyn was born in Buchanan, Saskatchewan.
