Dwight Lodeweges is a Canadian–born Dutch football coach and former professional player. He is currently one of the assistant managers of the Netherlands national team.

Meaghan Mikkelson is a Canadian ice hockey player and a member of the Canada women's national ice hockey team and plays for Luleå HF in the Swedish Women's Hockey League. Mikkelson also won gold medals during the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympic Games. She was selected third overall by Team Alberta CWHL in the 2011 CWHL Draft. Also she was a player for the Edmonton Chimos (WWHL).

Christine Janice Elliott is a Canadian politician in Ontario who is serving as the 11th and current Deputy Premier of Ontario and Ontario Minister of Health since June 29, 2018.

Curtis Jonnie, better known by his stage name Shingoose, was an Ojibwe singer and songwriter from Canada. He played in Roy Buchanan's band during the early part of his career. He also recorded with Bruce Cockburn in his first album, Native Country. Shingoose was inducted into the Manitoba Music Hall of Fame in 2012.

Dwight King is a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger who is currently an unrestricted free agent. He most recently played for the Graz99ers of the Austrian Hockey League (EBEL). He previously played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Los Angeles Kings and the Montreal Canadiens. He was a member of the Kings' Stanley Cup championship teams in 2012 and in 2014.

Douglas Jonathan "Dougie" Hamilton, Jr. is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman for the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League (NHL). Hamilton was selected by the Boston Bruins in the first round, ninth overall, of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. Hamilton played for the Bruins for three seasons before he was traded to the Calgary Flames in the 2015 off-season. He would play with the Flames for three seasons before he was traded to the Hurricanes in 2018.

Edith Campbell, was a Canadian nurse. She was one of the first Canadian nurses to arrive in England to assist in the establishment of the Duchess of Connaught Canadian Red Cross Hospital, a field hospital in Taplow, Buckinghamshire, and serve during the First World War in both England and France, earning a number of medals including the Royal Red Cross, first class, and the Military Medal. She was also twice mentioned in dispatches.
