He became better known to worldwide audiences in Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001) and L'Enfant (2005). The latter was also directed by the Dardenne brothers. He portrayed singer Claude François in the 2012 film My Way.

He was selected by the Knicks as the eighth overall pick during the 2017 NBA draft. Ntilikina was born in Belgium and grew up in the French city of Strasbourg. He stands 6 ft 4 in (193 cm) tall and plays the point guard position.
