Rocco Francis Marchegiano, better known as Rocky Marciano, was an American professional boxer who competed from 1947 to 1955, and held the world heavyweight title from 1952 to 1956. He is the only heavyweight champion to have finished his career undefeated. His six title defenses were against Jersey Joe Walcott, Roland La Starza, Ezzard Charles (twice), Don Cockell and Archie Moore.

Joseph Edward Lauzon Jr. is an American professional mixed martial artist, competing in the UFC's Lightweight division. A well-rounded fighter, he is tied with Nate Diaz in having the third most post-fight bonus awards in UFC history, behind Donald Cerrone and Charles Oliveira. Joe's younger brother, Dan Lauzon, is also a mixed martial artist.

John Maguire Dowd is an American attorney, former attorney for the United States Department of Justice, and former Marine Corps Judge Advocate. Dowd was employed by several law firms in the Washington, D.C. area for his expertise in defending clients accused of white-collar crimes. He was appointed by Major League Baseball (MLB) to lead the special counsel in multiple investigations with the organization in the 1980s and 1990s involving sports betting and bribery, the most notable investigation being the Dowd Report in 1989, which resulted in Pete Rose being banned from baseball for life.
