Geirr Tveitt, born Nils Tveit was a Norwegian composer and pianist. Tveitt was a central figure of the national movement in Norwegian cultural life during the 1930s.

Fredrik Meltzer was a Norwegian businessman and representative at the Norwegian Constitutional Assembly at Eidsvoll in 1814. He is perhaps best known for designing the flag of Norway.

Maximo Guillermo "Max" Manus DSO, MC & Bar was a Norwegian resistance fighter during World War II, specialising in sabotage in occupied Norway. After the war. he wrote several books about his adventures and started the successful office supply company Max Manus AS.

Among his films are minor roles in Ni liv from 1957 and Ugler i mosen from 1959, and his leading role in the film Eggs from 1995 earned him the Amanda Award.

Torgeir Byrknes, better known by his stage name Teebee, is a Norwegian DJ and producer of drum and bass. He also runs the record label Subtitles Recordings. Teebee began DJing in 1990 and released his first record in 1996. He won the Knowledge Magazine award for Best International Producer in 2001.

Arne Lindtner Næss is a Norwegian actor, director, television producer, and writer. He has had many film and television roles. The best known may be Frode Birkeland in the television series Familiesagaen De syv søstre on TV2. His father was film director, producer, and screenwriter Peder Hamdahl Næss.

Johan Ludwig Mowinckel (22 October 1870 – 30 September 1943) was a Norwegian statesman, shipping magnate and philanthropist. He served as the Prime Minister of Norway during three separate terms.
