Georg Fugger von der Lilie (1453–1506) was a German merchant of the Fugger dynasty.

Julian Pauncefote, 1st Baron Pauncefote, known as Sir Julian Pauncefote between 1874 and 1899, was a British barrister, judge and diplomat. He was Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs between 1882 and 1889 when he was appointed Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to the United States, an office that was upgraded to that of Ambassador to the United States in 1893. Elevated to the peerage as Baron Pauncefote in 1899, he died in office in 1902.

Princess Margarita of Leiningen was a Princess of Leiningen by birth and the Princess of Hohenzollern by marriage. Margarita was the fourth child and second-eldest daughter of Karl, 6th Prince of Leiningen and his wife Grand Duchess Maria Kirillovna of Russia. Margarita was the Princess consort of Hohenzollern 6 February 1965 – 16 June 1994.

Kogon was known in Germany as a journalist, sociologist, political scientist, author, and politician. He was considered one of the "intellectual fathers" of both West Germany and European integration.

Wilhelm Filchner was a German army officer, scientist and explorer. He conducted several surveys and scientific investigations in China, Tibet and surrounding regions, and led the Second German Antarctic Expedition, 1911–13.
