Klaas Henderikus Willem Knot is a Dutch economist and central banker, who is the current President of the Dutch central bank De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB). In this capacity he also serves as a member of the Governing Council of the European Central Bank, and of the Board of Governors of the International Monetary Fund. Knot also holds a position as Professor in Monetary Stability at the University of Amsterdam and honorary professor at the University of Groningen.

Nils Holger Östensson was a Swedish cross-country skier who competed in the 1940s. He won the 4 × 10 km relay gold and the 18 km silver at the 1948 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz.

Séamus Kirk is an Irish former Fianna Fáil politician who served as Ceann Comhairle of Dáil Éireann from 2009 to 2011 and Minister of State for Horticulture from 1987 to 1992. He served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Louth constituency from 1982 to 2016.
