Syahrul Yasin Limpo is an Indonesian politician, who has served as Minister of Agriculture in Joko Widodo's Onward Cabinet since 23 October 2019. He was governor of South Sulawesi from 2008 to 2018.

Xu Zongheng was the mayor of Shenzhen, Guangdong, China from June 2005 to June 2009. During his term of service, an agreement was reached on the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovation Circle to develop both cities into a metropolis.

Hatsunori Hasegawa is a Japanese actor who is known for his role as Takeshi Yamato in the 1980 Ultraman 80 series. In this series, he is played the lead role as a school teacher who is also a UGM member.

Kurt Niedermayer is a German former footballer, now a coach. Niedermayer, who played in defence or midfield, played for Karlsruher SC, FC Bayern Munich, VfB Stuttgart, FC Locarno and SC Pfullendorf. He won one cap for West Germany in 1980. He managed SV Wacker Burghausen from 1992 until 2000 and was later a youth coach at Bayern Munich.

Surono, who is often called Mbah Rono, is the most popular Indonesian geophysicist and volcanologist. He was former the Head of the Indonesian Center for Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation, Geological Agency. Currently, he is the Head of the Indonesian Geological Agency of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

José Ignacio de Juana Chaos, better known as Iñaki de Juana Chaos, is a member of the Basque separatist group ETA. He was convicted of killing 25 people in 1987 and was originally sentenced to 3,000 years in prison. As a result of complicated sentencing guidelines, he became eligible for release in late 2004 after only serving 17 years. However, the Spanish Government prevented his release by accusing him of making terrorist threats in two articles written from prison. In August 2006, he started a hunger strike protesting his continued imprisonment but it ended after sixty-three days. Another hunger strike occurred from November 2006 until March 2007, it ended after he was moved from a hospital in Madrid to one in his home region of Gipuzkoa. After he left the hospital he was to be placed under house arrest, but on 6 June 2007, after the end of ETA's ceasefire he was sent to Aranjuez prison. On 2 August 2008, de Juana Chaos was released from prison.

Michael Schenker is a German rock guitarist who has played in UFO and led the Michael Schenker Group. He was an early member of Scorpions, the band co-founded by his elder brother Rudolf Schenker. In the mid-1970s, Schenker joined UFO, playing lead guitar. He left the band in 1978 to found the Michael Schenker Group. He has rejoined UFO three times, producing an album each time. Schenker continues to perform and record. He has been called "a legendary figure in the history of metal guitar."
