Fusako Kuramochi
Fusako Kuramochi is a Japanese shōjo manga artist. While still in high school, she made her professional debut with Megane-chan no Hitorigoto, published in the Autumn 1972 issue of Bessatsu Margaret. She won the magazine's gold medal for amateur manga artists. Afterwards, Kuramochi studied Japanese painting at Musashino Art University, but left before graduation to pursue her career full-time.

David Sheff is an American author of the books Beautiful Boy: A Father's Journey Through His Son's Addiction, Clean: Overcoming Addiction and Ending America's Greatest Tragedy, The Buddhist on Death Row and All We Are Saying: The Last Interview with John Lennon and Yoko Ono. In 2009, Sheff was included in Time Magazine's Time 100, The World's Most Influential People, and Beautiful Boy was named the best nonfiction book of the year by Entertainment Weekly. The book also won the Barnes & Noble "Discover Great New Writers Award" for nonfiction and was an Amazon Best Book of the Year (2008). He received media awards from College of Problems on Drug Dependence (CPDD), American Society of Addiction Medicine, The Partnership for Drug-free Kids, College of Problems on Drug Dependence (CPDD), American College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ACNP), American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), and was the first recipient of the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry (AAAP) Arts and Literature Award.

Daniel Milton Newhouse is an American politician and agricultural scientist from Washington, currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Washington's 4th congressional district. Prior to his election to Congress, Newhouse served as director of the Washington State Department of Agriculture and as a member of the Washington House of Representatives. Olivia Twenty Dahl was the oldest child of the author Roald Dahl and the American actress Patricia Neal. She died at the age of seven from encephalitis caused by measles, before a vaccine against the disease had been developed. Roald Dahl's books James and the Giant Peach (1961) and The BFG (1982) were dedicated to Olivia. As a result of her death, her father Roald became an advocate for vaccination, and wrote the pamphlet "Measles: A Dangerous Illness" in 1988.
