John McTiernan
John Campbell McTiernan Jr. is an American filmmaker. He is best known for his action films, especially Predator (1987), Die Hard (1988), and The Hunt for Red October (1990). His later well-known films include the action-comedy-fantasy film Last Action Hero (1993), the action film sequel Die Hard with a Vengeance (1995), the heist-film remake The Thomas Crown Affair (1999), and The 13th Warrior (1999). His last completed feature film was the mystery-thriller Basic, released in 2003.
Rick Tsai
Rick Tsai is currently co-CEO of Mediatek following his stint as Chairman of Chunghwa Telecom. From 1989 to 2014, Tsai worked at TSMC, where he was president and Chief Executive Officer from 2005 to 2009. Prior to being appointed CEO, Tsai served various roles, including chief operations officer, vice president of worldwide marketing and sales, and before that, two terms as executive vice president of operations. Between these two terms Dr. Tsai spent a short time away from TSMC, working as president of Vanguard International Semiconductor. From 1997 to 1999, Dr. Tsai served as executive vice president of operations, where he was responsible for six TSMC fabrication plants, as well as associated testing service and product assurance.
