Rickey Medlocke is an American musician, best known as the frontman/guitarist for the Southern rock band Blackfoot and a member of Lynyrd Skynyrd. During his first stint with Lynyrd Skynyrd from 1971 to 1972, he played drums and sang lead on a few songs that would initially be released on 1978's "First and Last". Medlocke would rejoin Blackfoot in 1972 and later returned to Lynyrd Skynyrd in 1996 as a guitarist with whom he continues to tour and record today.

Zhang Tiesheng became famous during the Cultural Revolution, in 1973 for refusing to take a national exam on physics and chemistry. Instead he handed in a blank paper and wrote on the back that he was disgusted by bookworms who had never done any honest work, and that a few hours of written exams would disqualify him. He became a national hero for his stand and even won a seat in the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress in 1975. However, after the fall of the Gang of Four he was put on trial and sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Joseph Cali is an American actor known for playing the role of Joey in the 1977 film, Saturday Night Fever. Post Saturday Night Fever, he appeared on television and in films such as 1979's Voices, The Competition, and Suicide Kings.

Scott Farrar is an American visual effects supervisor. He is known for being the lead visual effects supervisor of the Transformers film series. He has been nominated for an Academy Award six times, winning once for Cocoon. His other nominations include Backdraft, A.I. Artificial Intelligence, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Transformers and Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

Bill Whelan is an Irish composer and musician. He is best known for composing a piece for the interval of the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest. The result, Riverdance, was a seven-minute display of traditional Irish dancing that became a full-length stage production and spawned a worldwide craze for Irish dancing and Celtic music and also won him a Grammy. It was released as a single in the UK in 1994, credited to "Bill Whelan and Anúna featuring the RTÉ Concert Orchestra". It reached number 9 and stayed in the charts for 16 weeks. The album of the same title reached number 31 in the album charts in 1995.

Timothy Lawrence Doherty is an American Roman Catholic bishop. He was a priest of the Diocese of Rockford until he was appointed Bishop of Lafayette in Indiana by Pope Benedict XVI on May 12, 2010. On July 15, 2010, Doherty was consecrated, becoming the sixth bishop of the diocese.
