Tadeusz Mytnik is a retired Polish cyclist. He had his best achievements in the 100 km team time trial. In this event he won a silver medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics as well as two gold and one bronze medals at the world championships in 1973, 1975 and 1977. Individually, he won the Tour de Pologne in 1975, Tour of Małopolska in 1978, Flèche d'Or in 1981, and Szlakiem Grodów Piastowskich in 1983. In 2010 he was awarded the Order of Polonia Restituta.

Galina Andreyevna Stepanskaya is a former speed skater who competed for the Soviet Union. She won the 1,500 m event at the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck. She was Soviet Allround Champion in 1976 and 1977 and won silver twice at the World Allround Championships, in 1977 and 1978. In 2009, she was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honour.

Vladimir Petrovich Pechyony, is a Ukrainian-born Russian statesman, who had served as the 4th governor of Magadan Oblast from 2013 to 2018.

Martin Friedrich Hellwig is a German economist. He is the director of the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods since 2004, after spending his academic career as a professor at University of Bonn (1977–1987), University of Basel (1987–1995), Harvard University (1995–1996), and University of Mannheim (1996–2004). Between 2000 and 2004 he was the head of the German Monopolkommission.

Hervé Novelli is a French politician of Italian origin, and a past member of the UDF group. He was a deputé in the Assemblée Nationale for the Indre-et-Loire département from 2002 to 2007, having previously been a député from 1993–1997. He has also served as a member of the European Parliament from 1999 to 2002 and as vice-president of the Indre et Loire local government from 1998 to 2001. He is also mayor of Richelieu since 2001. In June 2007, he became a member of the cabinet of Nicolas Sarkozy as an undersecretary for business and foreign trade. He was from March 2008 to 13 November 2010 an undersecretary for commerce, craftsmanship, small and medium businesses, tourism and services in the cabinet of Nicolas Sarkozy. In March 2006, he has created the association Les Réformateurs.

Richard Price is an American novelist and screenwriter, known for the books The Wanderers (1974), Clockers (1992) and Lush Life (2008). Price's novels explore late-20th century urban America in a gritty, realistic manner that has brought him considerable literary acclaim. Several of his novels are set in a fictional northern New Jersey city called Dempsy. In addition to writing literature, he writes for television, including The Wire, The Outsider, The Night Of and The Deuce.
