Namkhai Norbu
Namkhai Norbu was a Tibetan Dzogchen master. When he was two years old, Namkhai Norbu was recognized as the 'mindstream emanation', a tulku, of the Dzogchen teacher Adzom Drugpa (1842–1924). At five, he was also recognized as a mindstream emanation of an emanation of Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel (1594–1651). From an early age, Namkhai Norbu undertook an accelerated course of study, attending monastic college, taking retreats, and studying with renowned teachers, including some of the most important Tibetan masters of his time. Under the tutelage of these teachers, he completed the training required by the Buddhist tradition in both Sutrayana and Tantrayana. At the age of sixteen, he met master Rigdzin Changchub Dorje (1863-1963), who became his principal Dzogchen teacher.
Frederic Rzewski
Frederic Anthony Rzewski was an American composer and pianist who is considered to be one of the most important American composer-pianists of his time. His major compositions, which often incorporate social and political themes, include the minimalist Coming Together and the variation set The People United Will Never Be Defeated!, which has been called "a modern classic".
Oleg Gordievsky
Oleg Antonovich Gordievsky, CMG is a former colonel of the KGB and KGB resident-designate (rezident) and bureau chief in London, who was a double agent, providing information to the British Secret Intelligence Service from 1974 to 1985. He was exfiltrated from the USSR in July 1985 under a plan code named Operation Pimlico. The USSR subsequently sentenced him to death in absentia.
Akihito Kondo
Akihito Kondo was a Japanese Nippon Professional Baseball pitcher. He played for the Taiyō Whales from 1960 to 1973. Kondo was named the Japan Series Most Valuable Player in 1960. He later managed the Yokohama BayStars from 1993 to 1995 and the Chiba Lotte Marines in 1997 and 1998. He died on 27 March 2019, five days before his 81st birthday.

Tapani Kaarle Heikinpoika Brotherus is a Finnish diplomat who was acting as a Finnish Chargé d'Affaires in Chile during the 1973 coup d'état lead by General Augusto Pinochet. Brotherus saved hundreds of Chilean dissidents from death during the coup.
