Kimio Yabuki is a Japanese animator. Known in Japan for his work on many early classic works by the Toei Animation studio, his best-known film in the West is Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer from 1985, produced by the French company DiC with animation work done in Japan.

Masami Tanabu is a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet. A native of Hachinohe, Aomori and graduate of Rikkyo University, he was elected to the House of Councillors for the first time in 2004 after serving in the Aomori Prefectural Assembly for two terms and then in the House of Representatives for six terms.

Hiroshi Hasegawa , is a former Grand Prix motorcycle road racer from Japan. Hasegawa began his Grand Prix career in 1963 with Yamaha. He enjoyed his best season in 1966 when he finished the season in tenth place in the 250cc world championship. Hasegawa won the Macau Grand Prix in 1967 and 1968.
