Afif Bahnassi
Afif Bahnassi was a Syrian Islamic art historian and museum curator, General Director of Antiquities and Museums in Damascus, Syria. He has authored books such as The Ancient Syria and His Art (1987) and The Art of Islam, with Nurhan Atasoy, published by UNESCO in 1992. He was on the governing board of the Research Centre for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA) based in Istanbul.

Ernest Trova
Ernest Tino Trova was a self-trained American surrealist and pop art painter and sculptor. Best known for his signature image and figure series, The Falling Man, Trova considered his entire output a single "work in progress." Trova used classic American comic character toys in some of his pieces because he admired their surrealism. Many of Trova's sculptures are cast in unusual white bronze. He began as a painter, progressing through three-dimensional constructions to his mature medium, sculpture. Trova's gift of forty of his works led to the opening of St. Louis County, Missouri's Laumeier Sculpture Park.
David Edgerton
David Russell Edgerton Jr. was an American entrepreneur and co-founder of the Burger King Corporation, in what would become the second largest burger chain after McDonald's. After serving as a manager of another restaurant, Howard Johnson's, on March 1, 1954 he opened a franchise outlet of the restaurant chain Insta Burger King in Miami, Florida. On June 1 of the same year, he met fellow restaurateur James McLamore and the two founded the Burger King Corporation. After leaving Burger King, he went on to start Bodega, a steakhouse restaurant.
