Kao is widely regarded as the best Taiwanese catchers of his generation, and has been a frequent member of the Chinese Taipei national baseball team since 2001.

Anthony Scott Carter is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Saraperos de Saltillo of the Mexican League. He previously pitched for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters of Nippon Professional Baseball. He was a member of the United States national baseball team that won a silver medal in the 2020 Summer Olympics.
