Ewald Schurer was a German politician for the Social Democratic Party (SPD). At the time of death, he had been serving in the Bundestag since 2005. He had previously served in the Bundestag from 1998 to 2002. He was elected to the local council of Ebersberg, Bavaria in 1984. A Roman Catholic, Schurer was married with four children.

Michelle Leslie, who previously worked under the name Michelle Lee, is an Australian interior designer and former model. Leslie gained prominence as a catwalk model in 2000, working for stores including David Jones. That same year, she was a finalist on the television series Search for a Supermodel and the runner-up for Miss World Australia.

Gerard Majella, C.Ss.R., was an Italian lay brother of the Congregation of the Redeemer, better known as the Redemptorists, who is honored as a saint by the Catholic Church.

Joan Rhodes was a London-born British performer, wrestler, stuntwoman and strongwoman. Born into poverty in London, she and her siblings were deserted by their parents. Following unhappy spells in the workhouse and with an aunt, she left home at 14. After sleeping rough in Brewer Street, Soho, she joined a travelling fair, where she got the idea for her act after seeing a professional strongman at work.

Amr Waked is an Egyptian film, television, and stage actor. He is best known to international audiences and in Hollywood for his role in the 2005 film Syriana. Other prominent roles include a Yemeni Sheikh called Muhammad in Salmon Fishing in the Yemen, Pierre Del Rio in Luc Besson's Lucy and Ray Dussette in Geostorm.

Fadel Abdul Rahman Shamander Chaker is a Lebanese singer. During his musical career he was signed to Al Khouyoul Records and from 2003 onwards with Rotana Records.

César Horacio Duarte Jáquez is a Mexican politician, a member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party, who has twice been a federal deputy. He was President of the Chamber of Deputies of Mexico from 2008 to 2009, while representing Chihuahua's ninth district, and he served as Governor of Chihuahua for the period 2010 to 2016. César Duarte is currently under investigation for corruption and an arrest warrant against him and other close members of his government was issued on March 27, 2017. According to the Financial Times in 2018, he was "believed to be in Texas." He was arrested in Miami in July 2020.
