Désirée Louise Anna Ernestine "Dési" von Halban was an Austrian opera and concert singer. She was the daughter of Austrian operatic soprano Selma Kurz and gynecologist Josef von Halban.

He began as a vaudeville-style stage performer and has been noted for his contribution to the renaissance of American circus during the 1970s. Henry de Vere Stacpoole was an Irish-British author, born in Ireland in Kingstown. His best-known work is the 1908 romance novel The Blue Lagoon, which has been adapted into multiple films. He published using his own name and sometimes the pseudonym Tyler de Saix.
