She rose to fame when she was crowned the season 2 champion at Tawag ng Tanghalan of the noon-time television show It's Showtime. Prior to that, she joined Star Circle Quest: Search for the Next Kiddie Superstars. She began her career as a child actress, appearing in several ABS-CBN TV series. Janine also appeared in several antagonist roles where she played bully to a protagonist.

She won the 2004 Zurich Open, defeating Maria Sharapova in the final, and reached the finals of the 2004 Wimbledon, 2004 US Open, and 2007 Wimbledon mixed doubles events, as well as the quarterfinals of the 2005 Australian Open singles tournament.

Mitsuo Matayoshi was a Japanese political activist, known for his perennial candidacy. He styled himself The only God Matayoshi Mitsuo Jesus Christ (唯一神又吉光雄・イエス・キリスト) or Jesus Matayoshi (又吉イエス). He was the leader of the World Economic Community Party (世界経済共同体党).

Anisuzzaman was a Bangladeshi academic of Bengali literature. He was an activist who took part in the Language Movement (1952), participated in Mass Uprising (1969), and took part in the War of Liberation (1971). He was a member of the Planning Commission to the Government of Bangladesh during the Bangladesh liberation war and a member of the National Education Commission set up by the government after liberation. He was inducted as a National Professor by the Government of Bangladesh in 2018.
