Kurt Jung was a German politician (FDP) and architect. He was Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister of the Interior from 1972 to 1974, to the Federal Ministry of Transport and Posts and Telecommunications from 1974 to 1976 and to the Federal Minister of Defence from 1982 to 1983.

Mark Boal is an American journalist, screenwriter and film producer. Before he became a prominent figure of cinema, Boal worked as a journalist for such publications as Rolling Stone, The Village Voice, Salon and Playboy. Boal's 2004 article "Death and Dishonor" was adapted for the film In the Valley of Elah, which Boal also co-wrote.

Mary Denise Rand, MBE is an English former track and field athlete. She won the long jump at the 1964 Summer Olympics by breaking the world record, the first British female to win an Olympic gold medal in track and field.
