He was a linebacker and defensive end with the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League, a commentator for National Public Radio, and the former host of the 2005 revival of A Current Affair produced by 20th Television. In November 2018, Green announced that he was diagnosed with ALS.

Earl Christian Campbell, nicknamed The Tyler Rose, is an American professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL) for the Houston Oilers and New Orleans Saints. Known for his aggressive, punishing running style and ability to break tackles, Campbell gained recognition as one of the best power running backs in NFL history.

Edward Darwin Lacy Jr. is a former American football running back. He played college football at Alabama, where he was a member of three BCS National Championship teams in the 2009, 2011, and 2012 seasons. He was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He was also a member of the Seattle Seahawks.

JaMarcus Trenell Russell is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for three seasons with the Oakland Raiders. Highly coveted at LSU, where he won the Sugar Bowl in 2007 and received the game's MVP honors, he was selected by the Raiders first overall in the 2007 NFL Draft.

Anquan Kenmile Boldin Sr. is a former American football wide receiver who spent 14 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Florida State and was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the second round of the 2003 NFL draft. Logan Lamont Thomas is an American football tight end for the Washington Football Team of the National Football League (NFL). He was the starting quarterback for the Virginia Tech Hokies football team in the early 2010s, where he finished as the school's all-time leader in passing yards and touchdowns before being drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He then spent time as a reserve quarterback for the Miami Dolphins and New York Giants before switching to the tight end position with the Detroit Lions in 2016 and later playing for the Buffalo Bills.

DeShone Allen Kizer is an American football quarterback for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Notre Dame and was drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He has also played for the Green Bay Packers and Las Vegas Raiders.

Errick Lynne Williams Jr. is an American former football running back who played 11 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), one season in the Canadian Football League (CFL) and four years of minor league baseball for the Philadelphia Phillies. He played college football for the University of Texas, where he was a two-time All-American and won the Heisman Trophy. Williams was drafted by the New Orleans Saints fifth overall in the 1999 NFL Draft and spent three seasons with the team before he was traded to the Miami Dolphins in 2002. He played for the Dolphins for two seasons, and retired for the first time from football in 2004. Due to his suspension from the NFL in 2006, he played for the Toronto Argonauts that year. Williams re-joined the Dolphins in 2007 and played with them until 2010, and spent the 2011 season with the Baltimore Ravens. He was formerly an assistant football coach at the University of the Incarnate Word and is currently a football analyst for ESPN's Longhorn Network. In 2015, Williams was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Kenny Golladay is an American football wide receiver for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League. He played college football at North Dakota and Northern Illinois, and was drafted by the Lions in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He led the NFL in receiving touchdowns in 2019.
