He was the Ph.D. supervisor for Abhay Ashtekar, Basilis Xanthopoulos and Gary Horowitz. He also proved an important theorem in spin geometry.

Robert Dalva is a noted American film editor. Filmography as editor includes The Black Stallion, Raising Cain, Jumanji, Jurassic Park III and Hidalgo, October Sky, and The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio. He also directed the film The Black Stallion Returns (1983).

Eugene Robert Glazer is an American actor best known for his portrayal of "Operations" on the TV show La Femme Nikita.
