Claude Fischler is a French social scientist. He is a directeur de recherche of the French National Centre for Scientific Research and heads the Institut Interdisciplinaire d'Anthropologie du Contemporain, a research unit of the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences, in Paris.

Joachim Stöhr is a physicist and professor emeritus of the Photon Science Department of Stanford University. His research has focused on the development of X-ray and synchrotron radiation techniques and their applications in different scientific fields with emphasis on surface science and magnetism. During his career he also held several scientific leadership positions, such as the director of the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory (SSRL) and he was the founding director of the Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS), the world's first x-ray free electron laser.

Richard C. Bush III is an American expert on China affairs. Since 2002, he has served as the director of Center for Northeast Asian Policy Studies (CNAPS) of the Brookings Institution, and concurrently as the inaugural Michael H. Armacost Chair in Foreign Policy Studies. Bush is also a senior fellow of foreign policy.
