Csaba Hegedűs is a retired middleweight Greco-Roman wrestler from Hungary. In 1971 he won a world title and was named the Hungarian Sportsman of the year. He competed at the 1972 and 1976 Olympics and won a gold medal in 1972. In 1973, he barely survived a traffic accident. He recovered by 1975, when he placed fourth at the world championships, and won European titles in 1976 and 1977. Between 1979 and 1989 he coached the Hungarian wrestling team and later became a sports administrator, working at the national wrestling association, the Hungarian Olympic Committee, and the Fédération Internationale des Luttes Associées (FILA).

Aluf Uzi Dayan is a former general in the Israel Defense Forces and an Israeli politician. He is currently a member of the Knesset for Likud.

Naohisa Inoue is a fantasy artist influenced by both the Surrealism and Impressionism movements. Most of his paintings are set in the fantastical land of Iblard . He created reference and background art for the Studio Ghibli film Whisper of the Heart and also provided a cameo appearance as the voice of Minami. More recently, his works were given a more direct adaptation in the short film The Day I Harvested a Star which is shown exclusively at the Ghibli Museum. He directed the 2007 OVA Iblard Jikan, produced by Studio Ghibli.

Aobajō Yukio is a former sumo wrestler from Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. He did not miss a single bout in his 22-year professional career, and holds the record for the most consecutive matches fought, at 1630. After his retirement from active competition he was an elder of the Japan Sumo Association and a coach.
