Due as much to his personal contribution as to the lasting success of his main effort, the band Aquarium, he is a household name in Russia and much of the former Soviet Union. Grebenshchikov is frequently referred to as BG, after his initials. He is often called the 'Grandfather of Russian Rock'.

James R. Fitzgerald is an American criminal profiler, forensic linguist, and author. He is a retired FBI agent and best known for his role in the UNABOM investigation, which resulted in the arrest and conviction of Ted Kaczynski.

Deborah Ann Dingell is a Democratic Party politician who has been the U.S. Representative for Michigan's 12th congressional district since 2015. She is the widow of John Dingell, her predecessor in her Congressional seat and who was the longest-serving U.S. congressman in the country's history. Carlton D'metrius Pearson is an American Christian minister. At one time, he was the pastor of the Higher Dimensions Evangelistic Center Incorporated, later named the Higher Dimensions Family Church, which was one of the largest churches in Tulsa, Oklahoma. During the 1990s, it grew to an average attendance of over 6,000. Due to his stated belief in universal reconciliation, Pearson rapidly began to lose his influence in ministry with the Joint College of African-American Pentecostal Bishops and was eventually declared a heretic by his peers in 2004.

John McLoughlin is one of two Port Authority of New York and New Jersey police officers who survived after being trapped under the rubble of the World Trade Center during the September 11 attacks. His rescue and that of William Jimeno is the subject of the Oliver Stone film World Trade Center released in 2006, in which McLoughlin was portrayed by Nicolas Cage.

Meng Hongwei is a former Chinese politician and police officer who was the president of Interpol from 2016 to 2018. He also served as vice-minister of Public Security in China from 2004 to 2018. Meng purportedly resigned in absentia in October 2018 via Chinese officials after he was secretly detained and accused of taking bribes by Chinese anti-corruption authorities. On 21 January 2020, Meng had been sentenced to 13-and-a-half years in jail by a Chinese court for bribery during his time at the Chinese coast guard and Ministry of Public Security.
