Tuomas Kantelinen is a Finnish composer. He studied composition at the Sibelius Academy with Eero Hämeenniemi. He is best known for his scores for films such as Rukajärven tie, Äideistä parhain, Mindhunters and Mongol. He has also composed the opera Paavo the Great. Great Race. Great Dream., chamber music and orchestral works as well as music for television shows and commercials.

Marc Surer is a former racing driver from Switzerland currently working as TV commentator and racing school instructor. He participated in 88 Formula One World Championship Grands Prix, debuting on 9 September 1979. He scored a total of 17 championship points.

Józef Kowalczyk is a Polish Roman Catholic prelate, canon lawyer and diplomat who, from 1989 to 2010, served as the first apostolic nuncio to Poland since World War II. He later served as archbishop of Gniezno and primate of Poland until his retirement in 2014.

Leopold "Poldek" Socha was a Polish sewage inspector in the city of Lwów. During the World War II, Socha used his knowledge of the city's sewage system to shelter a group of Jews from Nazi persecution and their supporters of different nationalities. In 1978 he was recognized by the State of Israel as Righteous Among the Nations.

Aureliana Alberici is an Italian academic and former politician. She served as a Senator for the Italian Communist Party and the Democratic Party of the Left from 1987 to 1996.
