List of Famous Swimmers

Yasuhiro Koseki is a Japanese competitive swimmer and breaststroke specialist. He won the 100-meter event at the 2013 Summer Universiade, 2013 East Asian Games, and the 2014 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships. He hold the Asian record in this event, set in February 2014.

Ippei Watanabe is a Japanese swimmer and former world record holder in the 200 metre breaststroke.

Hugo González de Oliveira is a Spanish swimmer of Brazilian origin. He competed in the men's 100 metre backstroke and the men's 200 backstroke events at the 2016 Olympics.

Mélanie Henique is a French swimmer who won a bronze medal in 50 m butterfly at the 2011 World Championships in Shanghai.

Markus Deibler is a German swimmer who competed at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics. In 2008 he finished in 40th place in the 200 m individual medley. In 2012 he was sixth in the 4 × 100 m freestyle and 4 × 100 m medley relays and eighth in the 200 m medley. He won three gold and two silver medals at the short-course European championships in 2010 and 2011.

Verena Schott is a German paraswimmer and Paralympic medal winner.

Satomi Suzuki is a Japanese swimmer. She won a silver medal in the 200m breaststroke event and a bronze medal in the 100m breaststroke at the 2012 Summer Olympics, as well as a silver in the women's 4 x 100 m medley relay for Japan. She also swam in the 100 m breaststroke and 4 x 100 m medley relay at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She currently belongs to Yamanashi Gakuin University swimming club.
