Darya Tkachenko is a Russian, formerly Ukrainian, draughts player holding the FMJD titles of FMJD Master (MF) and Women's International Grandmaster (GMIF). She is four-time women's world champion and twice women's European champion in international draughts. In 2016, she also won the women's world championship of Turkish draughts.

Scholastique Mukasonga is a French Rwandan author born in 1956 in the former Gikongoro province of Rwanda. In 2012, She won the prix Renaudot and the prix Ahmadou-Kourouma for her book Our Lady of the Nile. In addition to being a finalist for the International Dublin Literary Award and the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, Mukasonga was rewarded in 2014 with the Seligman Prize against racism and intolerance and in 2015 with the prize Société des gens de lettres. She currently resides in Lower Normandy.

Saku Antero Koivu is a Finnish former professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL). He began his NHL career with the Montreal Canadiens in 1995–96 after three seasons with TPS of the Finnish SM-liiga. Koivu served as the Canadiens' captain for ten of his 14 years with the club, which makes him the longest captaincy tenure in team history, tied with Jean Béliveau. Koivu was the first European player to captain the Montreal Canadiens.

Esther Denise "Woj" Hochman Wojcicki is an American journalist, educator, and vice chair of the Creative Commons advisory council. Wojcicki has studied education and technology. She is the founder of the Palo Alto High School Media Arts Program in Palo Alto, CA., and the Co-Founder of TractLearning, Inc that publishes the website Tract, a peer to peer learning platform for kids 8 years and over.

Pascal Brandys is a French engineer and entrepreneur. He is a graduate of the École Polytechnique and received his M.S. in Economic Systems from Stanford University in 1982. He began his career in venture capital first in Tokyo and then in London, where he contributed to the first wave of biotechnology companies in Europe. He was the former president and founder of Genset Corporation, which became the European flagship in the field of genomics and at some point the second largest biotechnology company in Europe. He was also a co-founder and former president of France Biotech, the trade association of biotechnology companies in France. In 2001 he co-founded the biotechnology holding company Biobank in San Diego. In 2020 he co-founded Phylex BioSciences, Inc., a company based in San Diego developing a universal vaccine against the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).
